Currently TPG is looking for team members for the following positions:

Garden Center Team Member

Description:

  • Horticultural License Preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be prepared for working outdoors in possible inclement weather
  • Position includes customer sales and assistance, care of plant material, unloading plant material, and assisting with processing for placement for sale, yard clean up, loading customer vehicles, writing up purchases, assisting garden center manager with projects as requested, work in other departments as needed/requested.

Landscape Installation Crew Leader

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Use your landscaping experience and people skills to be an effective team member
  • Be ready to work hard in weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
  • Interact with clients and assure client satisfaction
  • Manage a team of two or more employees
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – knowledge of technology is needed
  • The use of heavy equipment is a plus (i.e. skid steers, excavators, etc.)
  • Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trade is required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Qualifications:

  • A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills
  • Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment
  • High school degree or GED is preferred
  • Have a valid driver license and clean driving record
  • Ability to read and write
  • Must have the minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping or construction
  • Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, mulching

Experience:

  • Landscaping: 2 years
  • Managing a Crew of 2 or more: 2 years

Education:

  • High School or equivalent

Licenses:

  • Driver’s License
  • Horticulture License

Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Landscaping experience is a plus
  • Ready to work hard in weather conditions (heat, cold etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Horticulture knowledge and standards or pruning, planting, digging, and mulching
  • Work with foreman to ensure all residential and commercial properties are maintained to TPG’s standards
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Qualifications:

  • A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills
  • Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers etc)
  • High school degree or GED is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to read and write
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching
  • Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trades is a plus

Experience

  • Landscape/Lawn Maintenance: 2 years

Education

  • High School or equivalent

License

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Horticultural license is a plus
