Saddle Leather Candle
A stable full of sounds, as the horses begin to stir. The rising cacophony of whinnies, snorts and stomps rustling in newly strewn hay mingles with the creak of leather as saddles are placed, stirrups tightened and riders start to make their way outside.
Warm leather, rock rose and crisp hay dry down to a warm blanket of cashmere musk, Baltic amber, tonka bean and vanilla.
First Burn: Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts all the way to the edge of the glass – it could take up to 4 hours and varies by fragrance. This ensures that the candle will burn evenly thereafter.
Ideal Burning: LAFCO candles perform best when burned for 2 – 4 hours at a time. Ensure an even burn by keeping lit candles away from any drafts, open windows or air vents.
After the First Burn: Trim the wick to 1/4″ before you relight each time. Do not let the trimmings, matches, or any other debris fall into the wax.
Center the Wick: Use a snuffer to gently center and straighten the wick after extinguishing. Never allow the wick or flame to touch the sides of the candle vessel.
Last Burn: Our candle is designed to self-extinguish, leaving up to 1/2″ of wax left in the bottom of the glass. This is a safety measure to prevent the bottom of the glass from becoming too hot. If the candle does not self extinguish, stop burning when less than 1/2″ of wax remains – do not let the candle burn all the way to the bottom.
Safety Tips: Don’t leave the candle unattended or with pets or children. Don’t place the candle near fabric or anything combustible. Burn candles on a heat and flame resistant surface.
