Saint Francis with Bowl Statue
St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and a favorite symbol for harmony between all living things. Place this statue in your garden and you just might find it’s more than symbolic — the bowl he holds can be filled with birdseed. This garden statue is constructed of Fiberstone, a mixture of sand and stone cast directly into the sculpture’s surface, reinforced with an ultra-strong fiberglass backing and then hand-finished in a lovely antiqued white with hints of moss color. The result is a unique garden accent that’s lighter and less fragile than concrete, and durable in all weather conditions.
- Fiberstone with a white moss finish
- 11″ W x 10″ D x 23″ H
- Weighs 8 lbs.
- Weatherproof; will not crack or chip even in freezing temperatures
Our fiber stone collection is composed of lightweight outdoor fiberglass with a mixture of stones and sand cast into the surface to give the appearance of aged concrete while increasing its strength and function. The advantages of fiber stone include its reinforced fiberglass backing keeping the piece lightweight and less fragile than concrete while still being safe for outdoors. The results are beautiful eye-catching pieces of art that our customers will be proud to own.
Orlandi has always been known to present a unique collection of garden accessories. Instead of waiting decades for nature’s process of wind, sun, rain, and erosion, we have perfected our own method to achieve this same beauty by Fiber Stone.
Fiber Stone is a mixture of stone cast directly into the surface then reinforced with a fiberglass backing. Next it is carefully stained to give the appearance of age. Each piece is unique with its own imperfections that add beauty to this handmade product. The resulting product is lightweight, safe for outdoor use, and less fragile than concrete.
We take pride in our designs and craftsmanship, and give special attention to detail. We are confident that both you and your customers will receive our high standard of quality.
In 1911 our great uncle Egisto Orlandi traveled from Lucca, Italy to Chicago, Illinois where he founded Orlandi Statuary. Because he took great pride in his craft and reputation, Orlandi’s casting soon set the industry standard of excellence. Artists, interior designers and museums relied upon the careful detailing and impeccable quality standards he demanded. Over the years Orlandi Statuary has evolved into a company supplying much more than statuary.
The Orlandi family continues to be competitive while expanding our collections to meet the design trends of the 21st century. Four generations of experience and knowledge mean we can meet your most challenging demands. We look forward to showing you why, after 100 years, we remain an industry icon.
